Slice of Justice was never meant to be real. That was the whole point.
We pitched a fake grindhouse revenge flick for Pink’s Pizza, a local spot out of Houston, Texas, just because it made us laugh. Think late-night Rodriguez chaos meets Drive’s deadpan cool. We shot a trailer, built a microsite, and designed a full set of over-the-top film posters. We even made a custom satin jacket for the lead it’s probably still in my garage somewhere, sketch and all.
This was before everything had to be content. Before likes and shares decided what lived. It was just an idea we loved, built on a shoestring, and somehow it all clicked. Still one of my favorite things I’ve ever worked on. Proof that if you care enough, even fake movies can leave a mark.
