Behind the scenes

Because the work alone never tells the whole story.

Logos, metrics, polished case studies. They look good in a deck but they don’t leave room for the late-night edits, the near-misses, or the spark that kept the project alive when timelines got tight. After a while that highlight reel starts to feel like someone else’s voice.

So I carved out a spot that sounds like mine.

A place for strategy notes, half-formed ideas, lessons earned the long way. A place for the playlists that carried me through deadlines and the field notes that never make it into a slide. I wanted a kitchen table more than a showroom. Somewhere I could lay everything out and let visitors pull up a chair.

This site is part archive, part workshop, part open journal. It’s where brand theory meets lived experience. Where I file the stories behind the launch numbers, the thinking behind the typography, the moments where a brief finally clicks.

Malamoody is the name because the work needs room to breathe. It holds the serious pieces that pay the bills and the side projects that keep the curiosity sharp. It holds the writing that won’t land on LinkedIn and the cultural observations that shape the next pitch.

I didn’t build this to chase algorithms or rack up traffic. I built it to keep the process honest. If you’re looking for perfect edges and corporate gloss, you’ll find better fits elsewhere. If you want clarity, context, and a candid look at how ideas get made, you’re in the right place.

This is the story behind the stories. Glad you stopped by.
